Natalie Rais
President
Natalie is a senior finance major with a minor in Business and Construction Technology from Waltham, MA. She is currently in her sixth semester of IREF. This summer she joined Well Fargo's Real Estate Banking Team as an Analyst Intern in Charlotte. In her spare time she loves to travel, ski, and read or listen to a podcast.
Isabel Donahoe
Director
Isabel is a senior marketing major pursuing a real estate certificate from Danvers, MA. This is her fourth semester with IREF. Prior to joining IREF, she participated in IREF’s Real Estate Development Program in the fall of 2022. This summer she joined Torrington Properties as a rotational real estate intern. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, cooking, and traveling.

Nico Piazza
Chairman
Nico is a senior finance major pursuing a certification in real estate. He is from Wilmington, MA and this will be his fifth semester in IREF. Nico previously served as Vice President of the Real Estate Club. Prior to joining IREF, he participated in IREF’s Real Estate Development Program in the fall of 2022. This summer, Nico joined Pebblebrook Hotel Trust in DC as a Financial Analyst Intern. In his free time, Nico enjoys attending concerts, cooking, and traveling with friends and family.
Kayla Thai
Development Officer
Kayla is a senior finance major pursuing a real estate certificate from Westford, MA. This is her fifth semester with IREF, where she is currently serving as a Development Officer after her time as the Fund's Portfolio Manager. This summer she joined Citibank in their NYC HQ as an Investment Banking Real Estate Lending Intern. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, visiting the city, and listening to music.
Noah George
Development Officer
Noah is a senior finance major from Yarmouth, MA currently pursuing a real estate certificate. This is his sixth semester with IREF, where he is currently serving as a Development Officer. Noah previously served as President of IREF as well as the UMass Real Estate Club. This past summer he served as a Real Estate Valuation Intern for PwC in their Boston Office, where he will return full time post-grad. In his free time, he loves weight lifting, skiing with friends, and traveling.
Ryan Kirschner
Principal
Ryan is a junior from Needham, MA, majoring in Finance and pursuing the Real Estate Certificate. This is his fourth semester with IREF. This summer, Ryan joined Walker & Dunlop in their Boston Office as a Capital Markets & Servicing Intern. In his free time he enjoys powerlifting, spending time with friends, playing basketball, and traveling.
Alex Breton
Principal
Alex is a junior management major from Natick, MA, currently in his fourth semester with IREF. This summer, Alex worked at Jones Street Investment Partners in Boston as an asset management intern. In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.
Julia Zangrilli
Principal
Julia is a senior finance major considering a minor in psychology from Suffern, New York. She is currently in her sixth semester of IREF. Prior to her joining IREF, she participated in IREF's Women's Development Program in the fall of 2021. This summer, Julia joined JLL New York as a Capital Markets Intern. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and going to the beach.
Tyler Henlotter
Principal
Tyler Henlotter is a senior honors finance major and an analyst at IREF. Last semester, Tyler worked as a Financial Markets & Real Estate intern at PwC and this summer Tyler joined Biogen as a Global Real Estate intern. Tyler is interested to learn more about brokerage and prop-tech. Outside of school Tyler enjoys design, skiing, and woodworking.
Saige Smith

Saige is a senior from Westfield, MA pursuing a degree in finance with a minor in economics and
a certificate in real estate. She’s in her third semester of IREF. This summer, Saige joined AEW in Boston as a Asset Management Intern. In her free time she enjoys playing soccer and basketball, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
Julia Farrell
Principal
Julia is a senior marketing major from Northborough, MA. This is her sixth semester with IREF. This summer, Julia joined JLL Boston as a Capital Markets Intern. Outside of IREF, Julia is the marketing chair for Isenberg Global Citizens. In her free time she enjoys staying active and visiting the Jersey Shore.
Nicholas Julian

Nicholas is a junior from Lynnfield, MA pursuing a degree in finance and a certificate in real estate. This is his fourth semester in IREF. Prior to joining IREF, he participated in IREF’s Real Estate Development Program in the fall of 2022. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys working out, playing hockey, listening to music, and enjoying time with family and friends.
Jeremy Strauss

Jeremy is a junior from Southboro, Massachusetts, pursuing a finance degree as well as a real estate certificate. This is his third semester in IREF. Jeremy is interested in the multifamily sector of real estate, and he hopes to pursue professional opportunities in this sector in the future. In his free time, Jeremy loves to play sports, watch tv shows, and hangout with friends and family.
Meghan Maher
Associate
Meghan is a sophomore from Melrose, MA pursuing a degree in finance with the real estate certificate. She will be interning this summer as an acquisitions intern for GID in Boston. Meghan is currently in her third semester in IREF serving as an associate and President of UMass Real Estate Club. She is also RSO Chair for Smart Women Securities and plays intramural flag football. In her free time, Meghan enjoys playing pickleball, going on road trips with friends, and trying new foods.
Rahul Nair

Rahul is a sophomore from Westborough, MA pursuing a degree in finance and certificates in real estate and data analytics. This is his second semester in IREF, where he serves as an analyst. Rahul is interested in Proptech and lending in commercial real estate, and hopes to pursue professional opportunities in them in the future. This summer, Rahul joined Snap Life Sciences in Boston as an intern. In his free time, Rahul loves watching sports, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Justin Dinowitz

Justin is a sophomore pursuing a dual degree in mathematics and finance from West Hartford, CT. This is his third semester with IREF, where he serves as an analyst. This summer, he worked as a Brokerage Intern at Kassin Sabbagh Realty in New York City. In his free time, he loves ping pong, weightlifting, coding, and the New York Mets.

He is interested in the banking sector of real estate, where he hopes to pursue opportunities in the future. In his free time, Dom enjoys sports, movies, and quality time with friends and family.

Dilara is a sophomore from Plainville, Massachusetts, pursuing a degree in finance and a minor in building and construction technology. She is currently in her first semester of IREF where she
serves as a junior analyst and is also on the young leadership team for Smart Women Securities. She is interested in the asset management and development sector of real estate, where she aspires to pursue these fields professionals in the near future. In her spare time Dilara loves

Emily is a sophomore finance major pursuing a certificate in real estate from Holliston, MA. She is currently in her second semester of IREF. Adam Souza

Adam is a junior from Fall River, MA, pursuing a degree in Managerial Economics. He is in his first semester at IREF, where he will serve as a junior analyst. Adam is interested in capital markets and lending within commercial real estate. This summer, Adam worked at BayCoast Bank in Swansea, MA as a Mortgage Intern. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and playing golf and soccer.
Maya Lai
Junior Analyst
Maya is a sophomore double Finance and Hospitality and Tourism Management major from Los Angeles, CA. She is currently in her first semester in IREF where she serves as a junior analyst. Prior to joining IREF, she participated in IREF's Real Estate Diversity Program in the fall of 2024. Maya is interested in pursuing a career in the hospitality sector of real estate. In her free time, she enjoys photography, skiing, and cafe hopping with friends.
Alex Popelka
Junior Analyst
Alex is a Freshman management major pursuing a certification in real estate and minor in Environmental Science. He is from Westford, MA and this will be his first semester in IREF. Prior to joining IREF, he participated in the Case Study competition run by the UMass Real Estate Club. Alex is looking forward to learning more about commercial real estate through IREF's Junior Analyst program. In his spare time, Alex enjoys skiing, hiking, and woodworking.
Julia McIntyre
Junior Analyst
Julia is a sophomore honors resource economics major from Waltham, MA. She is currently in her first semester of IREF where she will be serving as a Junior Analyst. Prior to joining IREF, Julia was a member of the Real Estate Diversity Program (REDP) organized by IREF in Fall of 2024. She also serves as one of two representatives for her major in the Dean’s Student Advisory Council for the college of SBS. In her free time, Julia enjoys exercising/pilates, skiing, traveling, and being with family and friends.
Desmond Simon
Junior Analyst
Desmond is a sophomore from Concord, MA pursuing a degree in managerial economics and a minor in business. He is in his first semester of IREF and will serve as a Junior Analyst. Prior to IREF, Desmond participated in the Case Study competition from UMass Real Estate Club. Desmond is also a member of the UMass Club Lacrosse Team. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, golf, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

Marlin is a freshman from Ithaca, New York. He is pursuing a BBA in Finance and a real estate certificate. This is his first semester with IREF where he is a Junior Analyst. Marlin is interested in multifamily real estate and hopes to pursue professional opportunities in this sector. Owen is a Sophomore from Burlington, VT pursuing a degree in Economics and a minor in psychology. He is in his first semester in IREF where he will be serving as a junior analyst. Owen is interested in lending and capital markets within commercial real estate. In his spare time, Owen enjoys skiing, traveling, working out, soccer, and spending time with friends and family.

Estefani is a freshman finance major. She is from Somerville, MA and this will be her first semester in IREF. Prior to joining IREF, she participated in IREF's Real Estate Development program in the fall of 2024. Throughout the semester, Estefani will be obtaining her licence in real estate. In her free time Estefani enjoys watching basketball, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends.
